Yeah I remember a few folks that were disgruntled because Underwood couldn't make a Michelin star meal out of the shit sandwich of a roster Groce left him. Holtmann walked into a Thad Matta constructed roster and it just so happened to be his best year at OSU. He followed that up with middle of the pack finishes, and he had EJ Liddell for a few of those.

Mark Smith debacle, his failed freshman season, the publicity behind it in the St. Louis region...not surprised at all that Liddell didn't want to come here. Underwood got ALOT of blame in the papers and behind the scenes with families to my recollection. Jamall Walker was the lead recruiter (had to look that one up), getting old.

Auburn just beat #11 South Carolina by 40 points.
Will see how Auburn does vs Tenn in a couple weeks.

I was really high on Archie and thought he'd bring Indiana hoops back. How wrong I was.

Not conference related but don't forget Clownzo Martin. I remember the outrage on the old, old HQ when Whitman passed on him. And thank fuck he did.

Rutgers comes back to beat Northwestern. It’s a good thing we caught them pre-Jeremiah Williams. He would have looked damn good running our offense but I understand he why we had to part ways with him in the end.
