The NCAA rewards cheating. You have to do it hard enough to succeed for a while, and have to be smart enough about it to prevent the death penalty. After that, you’re golden.

Just read the Charles Jackson (CJ) article about the ILLINI getting national exposure. Pretty simple and accurate.

IF the ILLINI continue to build a 2-3 primary scoring option night in/out, and if we can find a better way to use CoHawk/Dainja inside, then with our remaining schedule moving forward ONLY based on what we do KNOW right now we should do very well the rest of the way.

We play very few teams with dominating inside players, which sets up better for us IMO, and we have only lost 2 games so far, both against Top 10-15 ranked teams.

Something like 18-4 to close out the season...25-6 I would consider a very good record with this group, that should place us in a fight for reg season title vs Purdue, but I do think we will lose both against them so we will not win the regular or the conference title this year. I think Edey takes them both.

This record should place us squarely on a #3-4 line for the tourney, and as long as we don't play teams with high end inside players, of which in the Top 25 there are 5-8 teams with those types of players that will give us serious problems. We should be able to get to the Elite Eight at least.

So we are going to go 16-4 in the BT?
And we can "at least" make the Elite Eight as long as we develop a consistent offense, figure out our post play, and we do not play anybody very good.

Got it. ::)

Hey fuck head you seem to have an issue with my posts, why don't you read them instead of trying to condense them down to your IQ level and belabor a point that you seem to have a hard time understanding that you completely lose on every time you get behind the keyboard.

The point is that we will not play anyone that has "really" good post players, which means we are up tempo, we will play up tempo and win against inferior up tempo teams, most of those in the conference, but your math is excellent though, maybe keep with that moving forward.

Please stay at the end of the bench where you belong, or go over to another forum where I am sure you might sound intelligent....wait a minute scratch that no chance of that happening. I see ya down there.

Hey Guru, how did this one work out for you? Maybe you should stay on the end of the bench with your dumbass analysis. I was speaking about Frazier.

How in the fck will he take OA’s spot?
Chet hasn't recruited anyone of note in his career. He can’t easily point to guys he had a hand in bringing in that are well known, or he helped in getting to NBA.
He is kind of guy you might hire as a niche player development guy if you value his defensive mindset to have around and who will be loyal to the program.

You don't need to use him as one of the 3 assts who recruit. At best, he is your third guy if you have two other guys who can take the lead with that.
We have Gentry who apparently is a real pain in the ass Barney Fife for Hulka who we can’t fire and nobody wants.

We now better find someone who can really recruit their ass off.

Best to Chet, and hope he develops some relationships somewhere that help us, but not crazy about this hire.

TSJ possibly moving up into 1st round of draft, I hope so, he made the right choice in coming back.

No mention obviously of another person to be named later....

That’s awesome. Just for the fact that that really never happens anymore. You’re kinda pigeonholed these days to the NBA and it’s really harder than it use to be.
Because FOX News told me so…
