It does seem like Edey gets away with a lot of shit and gets a lot of calls.
He is a load for sure, but Purdue has same issues as last year IMO. The transfer from SIU helps.

I think the difference is that Edey plays a finesse game, he plays like he is soft...Kofi played like a bull in a china shop all the time. Not fair, but honestly the visual on the types of play will constitute calls going a certain way imo.

If by "played like a bull in China shop" you mean Kofi got rebounds by establishing inside position and by "finesse', you mean Edey rebounds by reaching over the back; then I agree.

If Kofi rebounded like Edey; he would've fouled out a lot.

It could be viewed this way, I think if you watch them both, Edey appears soft, appears to be fragile...Kofi did not.

He does reach over a lot. Edey is 305 lbs. Actually bigger and weighs more than Kofi.
Nothing soft about him. He gets hit a lot, but dishes it out every play. Officials generally have two standards with these big guys underneath as opposed to guards on top.
He is slow as shit but has more finesse down low on offense than Kofi.
His size might get him in the league as a spot guy off the bench.

As of today Torvik has us at 43 and out of the tourney.
Also has us going 10-10 in BT.
KenPom has us at 11-9 in BT.

Loyalty is ecstatic, however, and thinks we will be Top 15 soon.

Next three games are going to be interesting.
