Nebby shot 60% from three and 85% on free shots. The type of shooting you need to take down #1. Tominaga is a fun kid to watch.

Wow. They really handled them. Forced 13 TOs, rebounded with them and shot lights out.

We only play Nebby once this year. Thankfully it's in Champaign.

Kid is the most entertaining Tamagotchi since the 90s

I’m in downtown Indy for a conference and my Purdue colleagues all left the bar and went to bed early

Hoiberg might finally have a squad this year if they can just play around .500 ball on the road.

As is Illinois tradition, Trey Kaufman-Renn, the dude who played the game of his life against us, doesn't score a single point against the Huskers. He didn't even so much as get a single shot up in 15 minutes of action.

Doesn't hurt playing at home and visitors shoot 39% from 3 pt, with 10 more attempts and force 14 TO, get 9 Stl, and rebound evenly against #1 team in nation will get you some wins. Renn/Gillis basically switched games and scoring vs us and them.

We shot 42% and 85% also against them. We just didn't rebound, otherwise box score is very similiar.
"We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."

Hoiberg might finally have a squad this year if they can just play around .500 ball on the road.

It's pretty tough to play .500 in BT on the road for anybody in any year.  They don't make it easy.
I think the league average overall winning percentage over the years is like 33% for visiting teams. Crowds are tough, refs always allow too much physical play in league. Not shooting on your rims.
Worth 3-4 points easy, or more if you lose your shit for just a few minutes.
So in a very good year this year we might go 9-1 at home and 4-6 on road for 13 wins. 14 if we go 5-5. We only have a couple home games that could be trouble. One this week, and Purdue.
If we could hit 13 we will have solid 4 seed, or even 3 seed depending on the quality of wins.
A long way to go, but we are playing at high enough level on offense now to have pretty nice year.

I saw that PU was at Nebraska and thought Nebraska may give them a game. Then I saw that the 2 Big10 games last night were on the Peacock.
The bench goes 10-12 with 5-7 from 3 and 5-5 on their free shots.

It would have been nice to be able to watch some of the game.

I have to admit this also pisses me off about YouTube TV...

Well, I do watch Iowa women. LOL. My kid goes there and she also played against Clark and had to guard her in AAU since 4th grade.
Never saw this coming.

Pretty amazing player now.
